This is the setting that characterizes Villa Torlonia a treasure in the heart of Rome, that has recently over gone some restoration and brought it back to its original splendor. In the grounds of the park there is the ‘Limonaia’, which in the 19th Century was a store house for lemons and other citrus fruits that had been grown on the property. Today it’s an established restaurant pizzeria to unite both the pleasure of dining out with the beauty of nature and art and during the summer evenings concerts. From Termini, take Metro "B" in direction Rebibbia; Get off at the third stop, Piazza Bologna; exit/l'uscita "Via Lorenzo il Magnifico - Via Michele di Lando". From Tiburtina, take Metro "B" direction Laurentina; Get off at the first stop, Piazza Bologna; exit/uscita "Via Lorenzo il Magnifico - Via Michele di Lando".
From "Leonardo da Vinci” Airport - Rome Fiumicino: Take the express train to Termini Station or the regional train for Fara Sabina and get off at Tiburtina Station, then follow the previous directions. From Ciampino Airport: Take the aiport bus outside arrivals to the Metro stop Anagnina; from there go to Termini, change line for Piazza Bologna and follow the previous directions. On request there is a private car hire service with chauffeur to take you to and from the airport or other destinations, at a reasonable price.
From Northern Italy : Motorway A1 (Milano-Napoli) exit at Roma Nord. After the pay toll take the first exit for Settebagni - direction Roma-Centro. You should find yourself on Via Salaria. Follow Via Salaria until you see the sign tangenziale est, direction Nomentana folow this until the exit Piazza Bologna - Via Livorno; go up Via Livorno until *Piazza Bologna; go around the Piazza and take Via Sambucuccio D'Alando, go over Piazza Ruggero di Sicilia, Via Berengario is in front of you. The B&B Rome is on the left near the end of the road at N°11/A, scala B int. 1.From Southern Italy: Motorway Salerno-Reggio Calabria exit at Roma Est and continue for Roma-Centro; turn off at Tiburtina-Casal Bertone and follow the signs for Foro Italico/Nomentana/Tiburtina. From Tiburtina Station take Via Lorenzo il Magnifico, until Piazza Bologna, follow the previous instructions.
